Sunday, Sunday

Today was a pottering around the house day for me. It rained, so I couldn't do much else :)

I decluttered one half of the master bedroom - that was an achievement! (I'm doing the other half tomorrow). This buffet was a dropping point for so much stuff I didn't know where to put. Now it's clean and simple and tidy - I just wish I could get rid of that great ugly box in the middle!

I also did the weird ironing of the tea towels thing *lol* But you have to admit, they do look lovely all wrinkle-free in the drawer...

I'm having an early night tonight, so I can get a good start on all the things I have planned for tomorrow. Hope you all had a lovely, relaxing weekend...

Sweet Dreams!

They do look lovely all nicely ironed like that.

And why not get rid of the TV in the master bedroom? Or am I really the only person who refuses to put a TV in the bedroom. There's something about TVs in bedrooms that just ruins the peace and quiet of the room.

I'm like you Kerry, about the only thig I iron is tea towels (and I really enjoy it). I have a friend who says her mother used to iron undies too! I think it is odd :)

Sara, I would dearly love to get rid of the tv, all of them in fact, but I think he would revolt. Sad isn't it. Maybe I'll try it soon anyway *grin*

Great organising - yes, you are inspiring me to do something about a problem area TODAY. BTW, if you took notice of Rachel Ashwell, you would have no TV in the bedroom but then to watch in comfort.....

Good golly, even your tea towel drawer looks gorgeous! I'm starting to see the appeal of the tea towel ironing habit. I'm also thinking I need to work on beautifying MY home a bit more!

Your tea towel drawer is 'pretty as a picture'. My tea towels are all terry cloth, so no ironing of them for me...I'll just enjoy looking at yours...*smile*.
