Aaaah, I'm back...

It has taken me this long to recover from the weekend!
It was a successful carnival for the girls - Gabbie's team (15 year reps) were undefeated...the first time they have won this particular carnival, so they are very, very happy with themselves. As they should be :)
Brooklyn's team (12 year reps) won 3 out of their 5 games - a great effort, considering they had injuries to 3 of their players. They were pretty exhausted by the end of the day. But as they are "not playing for competition" at this age (ha!), they got a medallion anyway.
It was State of Origin (between New South Wales and Queensland) and I am happy to report that Queensland won the Origin Shield this year.

And look! I remembered the camera! LOL

Gabbie getting all her limbs strapped in preparation for the 7 games she will play.

This gives you an idea of how many netballers turn up to these things! And this was all I could fit in...

Gabbie's team - she is second from right at the back.

Brooklyn's team - Brooke is second from right.

Yeah for the girls - and for you for remembering the Sounds like everyone had a good time, despite the exhaustion. It is lovely to see all those smiling faces, they should all be very proud of themselves.
