I need help!
I am trying to come up with a name for my "empire" *grin*. But I'm having trouble getting it right, so I was wondering if you wonderful ladies could help me with some ideas?

Something kind of edgy and different, that says, wild and free, lusty, wilful, wanton, beyond shabby chic, a gypsy spirit, luscious and decadent. Something more crimson or scarlet than baby pink. More dusty and dirty than whitewashed - a little bit naughty, and something you have to try...

Does that make any sense? I kind of like Shattered Gypsy, but it's still not talking to me in the way I'd hoped.

You can post a comment, email me, anything....

How about something with 'Romany' rather than Gypsy in the title?Maybe sultry, sassy, decadent or even scrumptious!'The Scarlet Romany' sounds quite good!

Oh gosh I change names all the time! But my registered business name is 'The Faded Parasol' ~ The idea of a parasol is at once feminine and pretty and such an old fashioned word ... 'Faded' was just my way of capturing the idea of something being old.

Am I right that you are specialising in aprons and soft furnishings Suzie? I think you need a name to conjure images of your homewares/linens as well as say something about you. It seems that you're drawn to the pretty florals and that's what you work with ... so maybe that's why the lusty and dusty and velvety names are not talking to you the way you want them to ... because it feels like a contradiction ~ ??? I'm a little embarrassed to toss around suggestions but my idea would be to capture the idea of the florals and loveliness with a 50's pin up thrown in for lusty good measure!!! ~ does that make sense? You could have a tag like that Vargas pinup in her apron doing the housework and a name (don't laugh):

Lola Likes Her Linens

Pretty Lolita

Come Home to Lola.

Whatever.
