A Day In The Life...

Really, you all must think I am the most boring person - and it's true, I am! LOL

I was going to post about the trials and tribulations of yesterday and my plans for today, but then I thought - is anyone interested? Ego takes over and of course I would love to think you find my life fascinating, but most of the time, even I don't find my days anything to get excited about.

I'm not a writer - I just don't have that knack of making everyday things sound poetic (I wish I did). I read other's blogs and am riveted by their tales of what they did in the laundry or their child's latest episode. Some have a way with words that are wasted here on blogger - they should be published! But I'm very happy they are around making my day a little brighter :)

So that is why you will sometimes find days go by between posts here - they are the days when I am at home, playing the domestic goddess and doing nothing more exciting than sweeping the floors and rearranging furniture.

Maybe one day my life will become an adventure, but to tell you the truth, I hope not. I like my uneventful existence just fine thanks.

-------------------------------------------------------------

In case you ARE interested (LOL) the car is going in for a service today, and I am playing netball - that's it...

Talk soon...

Hi Flossy! It's OK to have routine things on your agenda. I always like to pop by and see how you are, regardless.

Can I tell you about my fascinating life today?...drop one child to school, go grocery shopping, take tyre in to be fixed (yes, the one mum and I changed about 3 weeks ago!)...I think you get the idea. Mundane, but like you, I love my simple days.

Have a lovely Tuesday!

I'm the same Flossy ~ very mundane around here.
Today there will be more washing, tidying, pottering around, daydreaming, cooking (you get the drift)...the same stuff, different day.
I love it though, and count my blessings every single day.
Have a good one!

Life goes through ebbs and tides, where one day seems mundane and the next excitement plus... You watch, something will happen soon and you'll wish for mundane again... lol... Much love xox

It's those seemingly mundane things about our days which weave themselves into the tapestry of our lives and provide the background for the excitment that occurs. Don't stress over it - I love reading about your day - mundane or otherwise. It is nice to know others do similar or the same things as me. Even those mundane jobs are important.
I hope netball went well and the car is running okay.

Hugs

Catherine

Mundane is good...right now I am alone, the laundry is multiplying as we speak and I have the computer to myself!

I agree mundane can be very good, it gives you a chance to think. I always tell my children it is good to be bored sometimes - that's usually when inspiration strikes for the best games. Have fun.
