I have been reading and thinking lately about the Law of Attraction - for those unaware of it, it's what "The Secret" is based on.

It's funny how when you really start focusing on positive things, not only does life become a little easier and happier, but you really start to listen and take note how others think and speak...

I have noticed that some people are very rigid and judgemental of anything they wouldn't do themselves, some are constantly talking about how bad things are, others are whining about their lives constantly, and others are being victims.

Now, I'm not perfect (by any means!), but I'm grateful for what I have, I try and remember to take responsibility for my life, and yes, when things get rough, it's hard not to get into that "poor me" mindset.

But at the end of the day, positivity attracts more positivity into your life.

The mind doesn't realise that those big dreams of yours aren't real, so go ahead and daydream that you are successful, happy, and driving around in a convertible (if that's what you want).

Let it make you happy.

Be mindful of your thoughts and words for just one day and see if it doesn't make a difference...

It has been a funny few days.
Amazing how things can go from bleak to wonderful in the space of a few words from a sensational friend.

I don't have loads of friends, but those I do have are people that I love dearly.
Whether I've known them for half a lifetime, or short year, whether I see them regularly or have never met them in person, I know that each one of them would be there for me in a heartbeat - as I would be for them.

So this is a post of appreciation for the beautiful people I call my friends...

A big shout out to Sue, Dianne, Linda, Nicole and Monique. Each of you ladies means the world to me, and if you need me, you only need to whisper and I promise to do whatever you need me to do.

I love my weekends - they're the best thing about being back at work!
This weekend just gone, we went to the beach...I love the beach too!
We had to be down at the Coast by 8am on Sunday morning, as Miss*G had a fitness session. I draggd the Princess along and told her she could do it too, lol.
Before you are thinking I'm a horrible mother, I'll tell you that I was doing the fitness too ok?
We all ran the Burleigh hill, which although it had sounded awful, wasn't too bad - I'm not feeling it today, so that's a good thing.

That's Brooke, she survived just did the other girls - they all look ok anyway :)

After that we all had brekky - fresh fruit and bacon and eggs, yum! Then some of the girls went from a swim in Tallebudgera Creek...

That's Gabbie on the kids just love the camera!

After that my girls and I headed a little bit South to Kirra beach, which is just beautiful. A girlfriend and her little boy joined us for the afternoon, and we had a fun and relaxing day.

We buried both the girls - Gabbie a bit more than Brooke. we tried to make her look like a mermaid, but she ended up looking more like a

We arrived home at 6pm, tired but happy, and were all in bed by 9pm.

I love my weekends.

So now I'm back at work what happens?

Yep, that's my life at the moment, nothing exciting happening at all, nothing to blog about, just everyday living.

You know, get up , get ready, drive to work, drive home, eat, sleep....

Any wonder I don't really enjoy it?
